I went down a road and tore the dirt up w/ a pick, just enough to get grass out of the way..Them i threw the seed onto the ground and gave it a good first dose of water just like it said.. And in one weeks time i had rye grass and clover 5 inches tall and as thick as shag carpet... My grass is still doing great and i dont hink i have watered it but 2 times.... The area I hunt is used as a bedding area , (cedar and pine thicket) now it will also be a food source. Reviewer: Troy  Adams this is great. i planted this food and i loves the results. ive been getting pictures of young bucks, 8 pt and 10 pt buck in this food plot. i went scouting in the pre season and saw a 8 and 6 pt come in and they stayed there for nearly a half hour (would have been longer but a rabbit came bouncing through and scared them). i love this. the deer stay there because of the brasica it grows, which turns into a sugary substance when it gets wet, which deer love. i cant wait to go hunting over this plot. another thing i do recommend is a watering hole next to i so the deer can get a drink when done eating, but not necessary.
