The wrist strap is very comfortable and easy to adjust. The Gator Jaws have never damaged or marred any or my servings. With using todays drop away rests I have found that this release is perfect because it grips the Bow Sring above and below the arrow nock and there is no arrow pinching. I have many friends working in the archery industry representing other releases on the market. They have offered me free releases if I would give up my gater jaws and I will never do that. My gater jaw release was used to kill black bear, eight moose two were pope and young and over fifty whitetail deer, the highest scoring 154 inch gross. I'm woundering why I never see this product on the shelves at the archery stores and shows. I was under the impression that it was no longer made or sold and that is why some of my other hunting friends don't own one. Can you only buy them on line? Reviewer: scott  simpson i bought mine at the buckarama more than 20 years ago in charlotte north carolina. i am not sure but at that time bow releases were few and far between, the man i bought it from said it was new to the market, my brother inlaw and i both bought one. i was shooting with a 3 fingered glove and the gator improved my shooting greatly. it has been through 4 bows and many deer. the velcro came loose last year and my wife sewed back on and i am still using it. i have had people try to sell me all kinds of releases and my buddies try to get me to try theirs but i still stick to the gator. i may order a new one or maybe a replacement wrist band. i think the man i bought it from was the man who made it but i am not sure. i will never change.
