Though regaurdless of perfect shot placement, the blood trails were not what i believed they should be. I chose to switch to a durable, razor sharp expandable broadhead, the hammerhead. On November 26, i shot a 158 inch whitetail buck through both lungs, and the blood trail was unbelievable, roughly 5 feet wide. 3 blade 100 grain knockout!!!!! Reviewer: Rick  McClancy On 11/04/2008, I was hunting on a small piece of land in Putnam County, New York. At about 7am, a 110 pound doe was 18 yards from my stand. I put the arrow just in front of the shoulder in the base of the neck. The arrow went straight threw severing her main artery and wind pipe. The animals went a total of 20 yards before expiring. The entrance hole was about 2 inches in diameter but the exit hole was twice that. The deer never new what hit her! This broad head is a monster and after seeing its performance, my hunting partner ordered the same broad heads later that day. I am certainly sold on this product!
