When the Package says "do not shoot at Pro Bags" they mean it! Pro bags will not stop this head @ 65# K.E. for sure as I blew through many times ~ LOL! I tested these this spring for the fourth time on a pig hunt and the results were super with three pigs proving the heads worth. The blades are as strong as anything you are likely to find and the ferrule is as good as the blades. My only recommendation is to make sure you screw the retaining nut down hard on the blades to lock them in. You really wont be able to over tighten when you are holding them so tighten them good ! In this way you strengthen the forward point .... The tighter the better! Piercing Power Reviewer: Tony  Moralez I have used both sonic 100gr. as well as the sonic pros 100's. I noticed the pros had a slight drop even at twenty yards, but still a great broadhead for penitration. While on an elk hunt in new mexico, i decided to go with the sonic 100's i felt more confident knowing i might have to take a long shot. when i called a nice 5x5 bull in he came in close, and at 27 yards he was standing broadside. when i took the shot he happen to look right at me. At that spit second he jumed completly away from me. The arrow went through his right hind quarter, and came out his left front shoulder. It looked like it just pierced him, he just look around for a second. He then proceded down the hill and fell over. He died 25 yards from where i had arrowed him. After the field dressing process. I was shocked, and very pleased! The aftermath was by far more impressive! My hunting partner was using grimreaper 100's, he killed a cow after two well placed arrows. The extent of damage didn't even compare. Not say 'in nothing to put down the grimreaper which also did it's job, but needless to say my partner now uses sonic heads. That explains it all! They go through anything I shot at at, including sapling branches! The doe I killed last year didn't know what hit her and the broadhead was no worse for the wear. I really like the fact that this is a "cut-on-contact, replaceable blade" broadhead - no more sharpening woes! You will not find a stronger, more reliable, better flying head on the market!
